The Bridge Project

2015 ongoing

by Invisible Out

Consisting of ongoing field studies at each site (through field recordings, images, journals, etc.), the Bridge Project takes place on different pedestrian bridges across the city of Toronto/Tkarón:to.

This work is a signaletic exploration of public spheres, concerning the ecology of neighborhoods beyond the physical reality by mapping site-specific soundscapes to geolocations. Utilizing various recording methods, we explore bridging the physical and virtual nodes in an ongoing feedback network that leverages the transitory and recombinant diversity of human, and non-human relationships to public spaces.
